Is a Marriage License required to be married in Nevada?

YES! It is every couples responsibility to obtain a valid Clark County State of Nevada Marriage License from the Marriage Bureau and present it along with all other pertinent documents to your officiant prior to or day of ceremony. You CANNOT be married without it.

Where do I obtain my Marriage License in Nevada?

The Marriage Bureau, 201 E. Clark Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89101. Very Important! It is recommended that you complete your "Pre-Marriage License Application" online (no walk-in applications) . Your application is saved in their system for one (1) year from the date of submission. If your Pre-Application has expired, please resubmit it.

Officiant Fees?

For a quality Las Vegas Officiant, the average fees range between $200 - $650 depending on your officiant of choice and the ceremony inclusions. Its best to choose an officiant who aligns with your ceremony vision, who you feel a connection with, and someone who has great reviews and is trustworthy. Timeless Connection charges between $150 and $500 for ceremonies in Las Vegas;The fee includes a phone, Zoom or in-person consultation, customized ceremony script, performing the ceremony and filing the marriage documents. We will also notify you via email when the certificate has been filed and is ready to be ordered online.

Save The Date/Reservations?

To reserve your date and time, Full payment or 50% retainer fee is due at the time of booking, which is non-refundable with the balance to be paid in full 30 days prior to event date. If your event is 30 days or less, the full payment is due at the time of booking in order to fully secure the officiant, and any associated vendors or venue, if applicable. The listed date will not be reserved until the contract + retainer are fully executed. (Note: Full payment is due at the time of booking for elopements + vow renewal (the Marry Me, Sign N Go and Retie the Knot packages)

Do I need a marriage license to be married in Nevada?

YES! It is every couple's responsibility to obtain a valid marriage license from the Clark County Marriage Bureau is required. Without it, your marriage cannot be legally performed. Please bring the license and all related documents with you to the ceremony. We recommend that you complete your "Pre-Marriage License Application" online in advance (no walk-in applications) . It stays active in their system for one (1) year from the date of submission. (NOTE: A Marriage License gives the "Officiant" authorization to perform the ceremony and 2) the Marriage Certificate is the "legal" document that your officiant + your witness will sign in order for your wedding to be official.
